Phaedon Anastasiadis was born on 28 February 1970 in Athens, Greece, where he completed his mandatory education with a specialization in applied arts. He studied at the department of Visual Communication & Advertising at Vacalo School of Art & Design in Athens (1987-1990). He furthered his studies at Harrow College of London - Polytechnic of Central London (1990-1991), and the department of Visual Communication & Illustration at the University of Wolverhampton (1991-1994) from where he received his Bachelor diploma. In between, with the aid of the Erasmus students exchange program he studied at the Koninkje Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Gent, Belgium. He worked as an illustrator at Artoon (1997-1998) and was an associate of Mediascriptum Graphic & Illustration Applications (2000-2001).
