CM: This is a group portrait of the Caronis Family - Liberios, Hélène and Artemis - including Achilles Cofinas. Liberios Caronis is the only one seated at the center of the group. Helene Caronis places her left hand on her father's shoulder. Next to Hélène stands Officer Achilles Cofinas, her cousin. On the other side of the father stands Artemis Caronis, the second daughter of Liberios. Contemporary relatives of the Caronis family, who donated this work, recall that this photograph was taken near the time Hélène was to depart for Philadelphia in America, where she studied Dental Science [GutF1910caro]. This explains the dedication of this photograph by Hélène to her cousin.
