Zenia Dimitrakopoulou was born on 1 December 1970 in Athens, Greece. She graduated from Pierce College in 1988, and went on to study initially as surveyor engineer at the National Technical University of Athens - NTUA and continued with a Master of Science at Imperial College London (1993-1994). She graduated in painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (1997-2003) at the workshop of Dimitris Mytaras, and is a PhD candidate after postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Architecture at NTUA (2004-2006). She presented her first personal exhibition entitled "Seasons" at Art Space 24 in Athens in 2010. Artworks by her are included in the ACG Art Collection of The American College of Greece.
