Stamatina Doutsouli was born on 21 April in 1972 in Athens, Greece. She studied at the following institutions: Department of Shipping Studies Southeastern College, Athens (1990-1993); Department of Kindergarten Teachers of the Athens Centre for Paedagogical Studies (1994-1997); Museum Education (1995); School of Byzantine Icon Painting Holy Metropolis of Demetrias (1999-2001); and painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (2002-2007).
Stamatina Doutsouli presented the following personal exhibitions: Dog Breeding Night, Astrolavos Art Gallery, Athens (2007); and Figures in Silence, Astrolavos Art Galleries, Athens (2011). She also took part in the following group exhibitions: The Byzantine Icon, Ionis Art Gallery, Athens (1992); Glyfada Cultural Centre, Attiki (2005); December 1st and Every Day... a Day Against AIDS, Syntagma Metro Gallery, Athens (2005); Poetry in Images, Institut Français d'Athénes, Athens (2005); and Glances at Everyday Life, Melina Mercouri Cultural Center, Athens (2011). She also worked as illustrator in the following cultural activities: children's program at Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation - ERT, Athens (1994-1996); collaboration with painter Georgia Fragiachildren's leaflet within the framework of the Regional Operational Program of Epirus, (2000-2006); collaboration with painter Georgia Fragia in Christos Kafteranis' series of fairy tales The Scarecrow.
Stamatina Doutsouli continues to live and work in Athens.
