Etios was born Etios Rezis on 12 December 1958 in Livadia, Greece. He is mostly known as a British artist. His art includes painting, installation, photography, performances, film, and video. In 2007 paintings by Etios were projected during a charity concert by Mikis Theodorakis at Herod Atticus Odeon, Athens.Etios presented the following personal exhibitions: Painting, Zygos Gallery Athens (1977); Photography, Titanium Art Gallery, Athens (1994); 20-Year Retrospective: Collage, Drawing, Painting, Photography and Video, Auditorium, Athens College, Athens (1995); Painting, Monohoros Gallery, Athens (1996). § He also took part in the following group exhibitions: Painting, Off Centre Gallery, London (1979); Painting, North London Polytechnic, London (1979); Voyage of an Alchemist, Torriano Meeting House, London (1988); National Preview of Live Art, Institute of Contemporary Arts - ICA, London (1988); National Video Festival: Eye Play, London (1988); The Salon of British Contemporary Photography, London (1989); International Dance Video Festival: Lunar Movement, Unesco, Paris, France (1991).
Etios currently lives and works in London, Paris and Athens.
