CHRISTOS GAROUFALIS (Greece, Aetoloakarnania, Agrinio b. 1959 / act: Agrinio) |
Christos P. Garoufalis was born on 28 July 1959 in Agrinio of Aetoloakarnania, Greece. He took a 4-years course studying drawing and painting in Athens, during which he came into contact with key artists, acquainting himself with their work and philosophy.In 2005 the Hellenic Post - ELTA released a commemorative set of stamps on the theme of Vine-Wine with an exclusive choice of his works. His work is included in the Dictionary of Greek Artists (Melissa Publications, Athens), and at times has been presented in the following TV shows: Plus & Minus, Co-Pictures, RIK, and ERA3. Since 2003 he has been artistic director of the Artistic Workshop of Agrinio.
