YORGOS GOLFINOS (Greece, Volos b. 1948 / act: Athens) |
Yorgos Golfinos was born in 1948 at Velo of Corinthia, Greece. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (1975-1980) with Yannis Moralis and continued his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts - ENSBA, Paris (1981-1984). He had his first personal exhibition in Athens in 1980. Between expressionism and objectivity, his work is supplemented by solid geometric symbolisms. Yorgos Golfinos lives and works in Athens.[Megakles Rogakos 05/2006]
