Aphroditi Ioannou was born on 2 July 1978 in Athens, Greece. In the main her art combines digital illustration and photography with an aim to depict live characters that drift between reality and fantasy. Ioannou is interested in the procedure of illustrating faces, emotions, mood and positive energy through color and forms. She specializes in the creation of customized digital portraits. Pop culture is the basic influence of her art.Aphroditi Ioannou has taken part in the following exhibitions: BCreative II, Chroma, Athens (2006), Protektion, ArTower, Athens (2007); the artAZ sessions / 01, Mommy, Athens (2007); and Silent Dialogues: Multimedia Portraits Throughout Time, ACG Art Gallery, The American College of Greece, Athens (2008).
Aphroditi Ioannou continues to live and work in Athens.
