EVRYDIKI KALLIMACHOU (Cyprus, Kyrenia b. 1973 / act: Athens) |
Evrydiki Kallimachou was born on 22 July 1973 in Kyrenia of Cyprus. She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA, painting with Professor Dimosthenis Kokkinidis (1991-1996) and took postgraduate courses in visual arts with Tasos Christakis (2004-2006).Evrydiki Kallimachou presented the following personal exhibitions: Place - Self, Astrolavos Art Galleries, Athens (2008); and Place - Self, Diatopos Center of Contemporary Art, Nicosia (2008). She also took part in the following group Exhibitions: Diaspron Gallery, Cyprus (1997); New Cypriot Artists, Palais de Nations, Geneva, Switzerland (1998); Creating Pictures and Consuming Feelings - Consuming Pictures and Creating Feelings, House of Cyprus, Athens (1998); 9th Biennale di Giovani Artisti, Rome, Italy (1999); Graduates of the MA Department in Fine Arts, Kessanlis Gallery, Athens School of Fine Arts, Athens (2008); Art Athina #14, Astrolavos Art Galleries, Athens (2008); Ten Years Later, House of Cyprus, Athens (2008); Art Athina #15, Astrolavos Art Galleries, Athens (2008).
Evrydiki Kallimachou currently lives and works in Piraeus.
