IOANNIS KOKKINOS (Danubian Country / act: Syros Island) |
Ioannis Kokkinos originated in Danubian countries and settled on Syros Island in 1904.According to Alkis Xanthakis, he was the "last classical photographer of Syros Island" [Xanthakis 1994, p. 121].
As he himself mentioned on photographs of his, he was distinguished with two gold medals at respective exhibitions in London and Paris.
His studio, which remains today in its original position, was taken over by his son Haralambos.
