Omiros Kosmidis was born on 20 March 1968 in Athens, Greece. He is an alumnus of Athens College (1986). He graduated with honors from the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (1996), having studied painting with Chronis Botsoglou and stage design with George Ziakas. He worked as a teacher of color, costume design, and the history of theater & cinema at the Institute of Vocational Training - AKMI IVT, Athens (2003). He worked under the supervision of George Malamas to restore the frescoes of the following churches: Saint John Chrysostom of Polydroso, (2005) and Virgin Mary (2006). He worked as sculptor and painter in stage design at the National Theater of Northern Greece, Thessaloniki (2006).
