CM: Nicole Lychnou's present work appeared in her personal exhibition "Heart - Threads in Dialogue". The composition is occupied centrally by the symbolic shape of the heart, which the artist created as a mosaic with small knots of red thread. Within the heart stands out the shape of a daisy made of yellow thread, which refers to the known game about the confirmation of love. The work deals with the issue of lack of love and the psychological condition that such lack creates. The petal has been removed from the daisy represents the observation that "You don't love me", which causes feelings ranging from sadness to anger as a hovering accusation. Thus, it remains to the viewer the challenge to fill the lack of love with the threads.
