CM: Nicole Lychnou's present work appeared in her personal exhibition "Heart - Threads in Dialogue". Entitled I think of you, the work visually deals with the emotional exchange between people. The composition begins with a design of the lateral aspect of the human brain. The design incorporates a hole, which refers to the space that the though of man occupies. Every thought is represented by a red string, in whose course it identifies various aspects of another person. The gap is traversed by countless of strings - thoughts about the presence and substance of other people. The points where the threads intersect form sharp corners , which symbolize acute thoughts, in the sense of negative emotions. The roundness and the size of the space may be interpreted as positive energy.
