Stella Meletopoulou was born on 6 October 1964 in Athens, Greece. She studied drawing and illustration at the École Supérieure d'Arts Graphiques - ESAG Penninghen in Paris (1982-1984) with the Met de Penninghen and the Academie Charpentier (1984-1986) to Agnes Bozekian. She continued her studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (2002-2008) painting with Zacharias Arvanitis and Triantafylos Patraskidis, sculpture with Nikos Tranos, and iconography with Pavlos Samios. She was nominated twice for a scholarship and graduated with honors in 2008. She worked as an illustrator in Athens.
Stella Meletopoulou presented the following personal exhibitions: Modern Aesthetics, Art Galleries Astrolavos, Athens (2009). She also took part in the following group exhibitions: Dreams, George Karydis Center of Visual Arts, Filothei (2004); Poetry in Pictures, Institut Français, Athens (2005), Angels, Stoa tou Vivliou, Athens (2006), Gypsies, Melina Merkouri Cultural Center, Athens (2007); and Three Women Propose, George Karydis Center of Visual Arts, Filothei (2008).
Stella Meletopoulou continues to live and work in Athens.
