Pavlos Moschidis was born in 1927 in Kavala, Northern Greece. He took his first art lessons under Polykleitos Rengos in Thessaloniki. He continued his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, under Maurice Brianchon. Subsequently he studied at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, under Félix Labisse. He also studied at the Istituto Statale d'Arte per il Mosaico, Ravenna, under Gino Severini. Later in his life he also studied Tibetan iconography. From 1960 through 1971 he taught drawing at the Vakalo School of Athens.
Pavlos Moschidis had over 40 and numerous group exhibitions in France, Germany and Greece, among which with Gallery Boisseree, Koln Germany, Club Francais de la Gravure Contemporaine, Galerie Zygos, etc. Artworks by Moschidis can be found in the following insitutions: The American College of Greece - ACG Art, Athens; National Gallery of Greece, Athens; The Municipal Art Gallery, Thessaloniki; Hellenic Ministry of Education Collection; Hellenic Ministry of Culture, Emporiki Bank, National Bank of Greece and Citibank.
