CM: This photograph along with others in the ACG Art Collection dated around 1960 in New York comes from Nelly's Collection in Athens, but is only attributed to Nelly's. Upon investigating the matter, the Benaki Museum - Photographic Archive was clear that Nelly's was very careful about copyright, and would sign or stamp all her artworks. The present item is a very interesting example of experimental photography, which is perhaps more advanced than other photographs of Nelly's general production. In any case, Nelly's Bequest at the Benaki Museum - Photographic Archive is yet to be researched. Therefore, it remains to be seen if the attribution of this item to Nelly's can be confirmed in the future.
