GERASIMOS NEOFYTOS (Greece, Cefalonia Island b. 1968 / act: Athens) |
Gerasimos Neofytos was born in 1968 Cefalonia Island, Greece. He studied economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1985-1989) and parallel to that engaged with music and lyrics. In 1985 he developed a professional relationship with advertising initially as author and subsequently as creative director, a position in which he excelled earning more than one-hundred Greek and international awards. In terms of photography he is self-taught and began with black-and-white film in 1996. His reputation as photographer spread owing to his work documenting the shooting of the film Brides (2004) by Pantelis Voulgaris.Gerasimos Neofytos currently lives and works in Athens.
