TILDA NIKOLAIDOU (Sweden, Göteborg b. 1928 / act: Athens) |
Tilda Nikolaidou was born to the Cosby family on 23 October 1928 in Gothenburg of Sweden. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Gothenburg (1950) and followed free art courses in Paris (1952-1956). She lived in France, USA, Switzerland and Greece. She married Aristotelis Nikolaidis (1922-1996) in 1955 in Paris.Tilda Nikolaidou presented the following personal exhibitions: Kunsthalle Frankfurt am Main (1963); Politi Gallkery, Rochester, New York (1968, 1971); Fine Arts Gallery, Geneseo, New York (1969); Guild Gallery, New York (1970); Ora Cultural Center, Athens (1982); Yakinthos Gallery, Athens (1983). She also took part in the following group exhibitions: Hjort Gallery, Copenhagen (1960) and Linden Art Center, Geneva, New York (1969). § At present, Tilda Nikolaidou lives and works in Athens.
