Elias Papanikolaou was born on 1 March 1974 in Athens, Greece. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1991-1997) under Nikos Kessanlis, and graduated with distinction.
Papanikolaou has presented the following personal exhibition: Take a Matchbox of Memory, Artio Gallery, Athens (1996); Do You Smoke?
