CLEMENT PAGE (England, Devon b. 1967 / act: London and Berlin)

Clement Page Clement Page was born in 1967 in Devon, England. He earned a Diploma in Fine Art from North Devon College of Art, UK (1985- 1987), B.A. Hon's Degree in Fine Art from Cheltenham College of Art, UK (1987-1990), M.A. in Critical Theory/ Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, London, (1991-1992), and an M.A. in Interactive Art & Media from Westminster University, London (1996-1998).

To date Clement Page has produced a fair number of film and video art, such as Stabat Mater (1995); Take a Glass of Water (1998); Journey to the End of Night (2000); Unknown Disturbance (2004); Sleepwalker(2005); Tiny Pain (2005); and Turned to Stone (2006). Page has also made a number of publications, such as Matthew Barney: Masculinity at the Margins, Coil Journal of the Moving Image, No 2, 1995; Hamad Butt, The Art of Metachemics, Third Text Journal, autumn 1995; Claes Oldenberg, Monuments to the Imagination, Transcript Journal Vol. 2, Issue 2, 1996; Jana Sterbak, I Want You to Feel the Way I Do, Third Text Journal, summer 1996; and Pasolini's Archaisms: Representational Problematics from Naples to Calcutta, Third Text Journal, spring 1998. Page has also been a Visiting Artist and Lecturer at Tate Gallery, London (1995-1999); Sotheby's Institute London (1994-1998); Goldsmiths College - University of London (1995-1997); and The Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University (1994-1995). Alongside his art Clement Page was a founding member of Derbyshire Street Arts, London , an artist run studio and charity. Other members of the studio included: Simon Patterson, Fiona Banner, Bridget Smith, Matthew Collings, and Monica Oeschler. Clement Page has received grants and awards from the Austrian Cultural Forum, London, twice in 2005 and 2006.
