Vasiliki Psarrou was born on 29 July 1946 in Argos of Argolis, Greece. She engaged with fashion design (1970-1973) and attended the Nikos Stefos Free Drawing Workshop (1988-1991). She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA painting with Chronis Botsoglou (1991-1997), stage design with George Ziakas (1993-1996) and sculpture with Thymios Panourgias (1997). Vasiliki Psarrou has collaborated with theaters on the following productions: Lysistrata by Aristophanes, National Theater, Athens - Epidaurus (1997); Persians by Aeschylus, Theatro Technis, Epidaurus (1997); The Winter's Tale by Shakespeare, Municipal Regional Theater, Larissa (1999); Oedipus Rex by Sophocles, National Theater, Epidaurus - Rome (2000); The True Friend by Goldoni, Municipal Regional Theater, Larissa (2000); Waiting for Becket by Michalis Fakinos, Stoa Theater, Athens (2000-2001); Hecuba by Euripides, State Theater of Northern Greece, Thessaloniki - Epidaurus (2001); Bacchae by Euripides, Municipal Regional Theater, Larissa - Athens (2001); Hypsipyle by Euripides, Spyros Evangelatos Amphitheater, Epidaurus (2002); Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, Diadromi Theater, Athens (2003). Vasiliki Psarrou has been distinguished with the following awards: Aid by the State Scholarship Foundation - IKY (1991, 1995); Honorable Mention in Solid and Liquid, Titanium Gallery, Athens (1994); and Honorable Mention in Festival of Art and Technology, Ileana Tounta Contemporary Art Centre (1998).
