Eri Sourouni was born on 5 December 1978 in Athens, Greece. She graduated from the Technical High-School of Halandri, Athens (1993-1996). She studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (1999-2006) under Rena Papaspyrou. She attended the sculpture workshop of Nikos Tranos (2005) and the printmaking workshop of Vicky Tsalamata and Akis Pirounidis (2006). She furthered her studies specializing in animation at the Visual Communication Department of the University of Craft & Design of Budapest, Hungary (2004) with the Socrates-Erasmus Student Exchange Programme.
Eri Sourouni presented the following personal exhibitions: Astrolavos Dexameni Art Gallery, Athens (2006). She also took part in the following group exhibitions: Diploma Exhibition of ASFA Graduates, To Ergostasio, Athens School of Fine Arts, Athens (2006); Astrolavos Gallery in Art Athina #13, Helexpo, Athens (2007); and Silent Dialogues: Multimedia Portraits Throughout Time The American College of Greece, Athens (2008).
Eri Sourouni continues to live and work in Athens.
