EDDIE TJENO ERICSSON (Sweden, Malmö b. 1946 / act: Tomellilla) |
Eddie Tjeno Ericsson was born on 3 February 1946 in Malmö, Sweden. He received art education at the following insitutions: Ålsta School of Graphic Arts; and Kungliga KonsthögsKolan - KKH, Stockholm. He was awarded the following art grants: Ellen Trotzig Stipendium, Malmö (1988); Statligt Arbetsstipendium (1993); Aase & Richard Björklunds Fond, Malmö (2001); Iaspis Konstnärsnämnden, Stockholm (2007). Besides painting he is also a graphic artist working with enamel, glass, objects and mixed media. Language being of great importance to him, he often combines images with text.
