Eleni Tsotsorou was born on 5 December 1966 in Athens, Greece. After graduating from Arsakeion in 1984, she studied for a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physics at the School of Positive Sciences University of Athens (1985-1990) and furthered her studies with a Master of Science in Radiation Physics at University College London - UCL (1990-1991). She did her internship as a radiation Physicist at Agios Savvas Anticancer Hospital, Athens (1990-1992). Subsequently she decided to study for a Masters of Fine Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (1993-2000) sculpture under Thodoros Papayiannis; painting under Katerina Papaspyrou; mosaic under Yannis Valavanidis; and classes in fresco & Byzantine iconography. She collaborated in the creative Department at the Art & Motion Advertising Agency (1996-1998). Since 2001 she has been a member of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts - EETE. Her artwork was chosen to illustrate the cover of Vassilis Tsiamboussis' story entitled Theodolite, in Eleftherotypia Newspaper on 8 September 2002. Since 2003 she has been teaching Art History & Aesthetics, Drawing, Architectural Drawing, and Applied Art at Arsakeion Highschool in Athens.
