KOSTAS TSOLIS (Greece, Athens b. 1964 / act: Athens) |
Kostas Tsolis was born in 1964 in Athens. He studied at the Visual and Applied Arts Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the painting workshop of Vangelis Dimitreas (1985-1990).Kostas Tsolis presented the following personal exhibitions: Agora Modiano, Thessaloniki, Greece (1995); Morfes Gallery, Rethymno, Greece (1996); One Room Gallery, Zurich, Switzerland (1997); Nees Morfes Gallery, Athens (1998); Stigma Art Gallery, Athens (2002); Amymoni Gallery, Ioannina (2004); Batagianni Art Gallery, Athens (2005); The Apartment, Athens (2011). § He also took part in the following group exhibitons: Transcriptions, Helios Old Factory, Neapoli, Thessaloniki (1999); Memory and Depiction, Stigma Art Gallery, Athens (2002); Stigma Art Gallery in Art Athina, Athens (2003, 2004); What Is Threat Like, Koursoum Mosque, Trikala (2004); Opposite Choice, Old Primary School of Kardamyli, Lefktro Manis, Greece (2006); Trans-Mission, Old Primary School of Kardamyli, Lefktro Manis, Greece (2007); and Silent Dialogues: Multimedia Portraits Throughout Time, ACG Art Gallery, The American College of Greece, Athens (2008).
Kostas Tsolis continues to live and work in Athens.
